Why are we making these standards available?

Waterworks regulations in nearly every US state and Canadian province/territory requires drinking water chemicals and system components to be certified to NSF standards. We've received feedback from the regulatory community that  these standards needs to be widely shared and readily available for regulatory stakeholders to ensure consistent regulation of drinking water products. Making drinking water standards available free for regulators will help ensure the availability of better, safer drinking water products.
